Dr. Karolina Kudlek / CV

Karolina Kudlek is a research assistant at the Institute of Philosophy Zagreb and a Ph.D. candidate at the Philosophy Department of Twente University. She obtained a B.A. and M.A. degree in philosophy from the University of Zagreb. Her general research interests are ethics, bioethics, philosophy of technology, and moral psychology. Karolina is currently working on her Ph.D. dissertation concerning the moral permissibility of biomedical moral enhancement. She is especially interested in how contemporary ethical theories can provide guidance for the evaluation of new and emerging technologies, particularly human enhancement technologies. She is a member of the research project Harm, Intentions, and Responsibility, where she investigates the role of harm in the context of moral enhancement.
