Dr. Simone Nota  / CV

Simone Nota was born near Naples in 1995. Ever since his undergraduate years in Pavia, he has been struck by deep connections between early analytic philosophy and transcendental philosophy. This led him to Trinity College Dublin, where he completed a PhD on Kant and Wittgenstein. His work brings an analytic-transcendental perspective to bear on key issues in metaphysics, language, mind, and epistemology—such as idealism, intentionality, linguistic falsehood, thought experiments, and dreams. Currently, he is a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Philosophy in Zagreb, working on the project ‘Intentionality and Modes of Existence’.
