Aims & Scope

Contributions to the Research of Croatian Philosophical Heritage is an open-access peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to advancing scholarly inquiry into Croatian philosophy and its historical interactions with neighbouring intellectual traditions, as well as international philosophical currents throughout the history until the present day. The journal prioritizes studies in the history of ideas and the history of philosophy while embracing interdisciplinary approaches across fields connected to philosophical research. These include, but are not limited to, the history of science, sociology of knowledge, historical theology, educational history, philology, and lexicography.
In addition to original research articles, the journal features primary sources relevant to Croatian philosophical heritage, such as analyses of newly discovered manuscripts and their publication, annotated transcriptions of historical texts of philosophical significance etc. A dedicated non-peer-reviewed section provides comprehensive documentation of philosophical activities through critical essay reviews, commentaries on publications, and analyses of conferences, exhibitions, and related events.
Contributions to the Research of Croatian Philosophical Heritage actively encourages submissions from international scholars and accepts works in multiple languages, reflecting its commitment to fostering global engagement with Croatia’s philosophical legacy. This inclusive linguistic policy aims to amplify the international visibility and academic influence of Croatian philosophical thought within worldwide scholarly discourse.
